I've been having a recurring dream the past week or so of doing something to my hair. Doing ANYTHING to it that doesn't involve just pulling it back and sticking a rubberband or clip in it :)
OK, bless your heart for fighting this silly battle a week before me. A) I now feel slightly less crazy or at least not alone, B) Our husbands could start a support group for each other, C) You are completely adorable. I LOVE your bangs. And D) I completely agree with what you said on your appearences post. I sometimes forget I'm doing this for my health and get wrapped up in the urge to be thinny. I do it alot, frankly. But that's just the way things go!
The training program I'm using is from a running club in Colorado - I got it from a friend. I was going to use Hal Higdon"s. It's very similar. This one is 16 weeks compared to 12 weeks but they are very similar. Doesn't Higdon's have some speed training on a track - not the beginning but the intermediate. That's what I was looking for. I also need to add some hills in but that's included on the schedule I'm using - Does that make sense? Nice job signing up for a half - ever run one before? Me - this will be a first!
I've been running for a year now and just finishing is my goal but at the same time I really think I can finish in 2:30 - 2:45. That being said -- it is my first time. We'll see. Optimism!
Super duper cute!
