That co...When are you running? When it's hot? That could do it. Have you ever read Jeff Galloway's Book on Running? He recommends taking walk breaks. Any where from 30 seconds to 1 minute. What are your shoes like? My hips used to kill me (I'm still fighting this battle)and I have a TIGHT IT band. It comes from bad running mechanics and the wrong shoes. I even had an "expert" at the running store watch me run, look at my old shoes and suggest I was a "neutral" runner. I'm not, I over pronate. It's worth the time and money to have someone figure this out for you. Good luck! Running is great. Don't give up and don't beat yourself up for walking.
